Jade is a Class of 2012 senior at Bayfield High School. She is also one of our stunning models. She came in at the end of the program, so we combined her model and senior sessions into one session, which we photographed last weekend. We started at Hair Fusion, of course, to have Jade’s hair done. Her hair is naturally curly and perfectly beautiful – and all she is has to do is let it dry. So, we just played up the natural curl. Then we went over to The Spaaah Shop to have Jade’s make up done, which they kept very natural as well, so we could see her beautiful skin and cute freckles. Jade is on crutches at the moment, with her foot in a brace, as she just had surgery. She is super tough and was up for anything – even traversing our set of stairs multiple times. We started shooting at Santa Rita Park for the pink roses and the river – to match her adorable outfits. I loved everything Jade brought to wear, especially her white lace dress that we used downtown. We went there to use one of my favorite walls and then had the fortunate opportunity to photograph in a new-to-me entryway that I’ve always wanted to use. The cloud cover came over just in time! Then we finished in the studio for a few more traditional portraits and we got to use our new autumn backdrop with one of Jade’s rusty orange sweaters. Jade was such a pleasure to photograph – stunningly gorgeous – inside and out! Hope you love these few of my faves!
