Paul is a Durango High School Class of 2012 Senior and he came in for his session on a beautiful Sunday morning (compared to the cold and wet previous Saturday morning). We roamed around downtown Durango for Paul’s session, using my favorite old buildings and alley ways. I loved the colors Paul picked for his pictures – of course brown was one of them – my favorite. We made a run through the McDonald’s drive thru for smoothies and then spent the rest of the session thinking up ways to incorporate product placement into our senior portrait sessions – I think we came up with some pretty great stuff! We shot some portraits along the river and then headed back to the studio for a few portraits with Paul’s drumsticks. I’m still trying to convince Paul it will be worth it to drag his entire drum set out to a big open field somewhere for portraits – so I’ll let you know if that happens. I hope you love these few of my faves!
