I had a great time on my session. Allison made it very comfortable and she was very easy too talk to. The funniest parts were probably when i kept falling over in my high heels. My favorite location would probably of been on the train tracks I really like the poses she gave me to do 🙂
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
I My best moment of High School so far would probably just seeing my friends and getting really good grades this year. I LOVE IT!
What are your future plans after high school?
Im planning on working and going to school and hopefully moving to California as soon as I can.

I loved my session. I got to take pictures up by my house, so I was able to have pictures that reflect where I grew up. Allison and Lexi were hilarious and made sure to make me feel less awkward about standing in front of a camera.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
I can’t pinpoint one moment that stands out to me in High School. The entire thing has been amazing and I wouldn’t take back one moment at all. What I’ll miss the most will be the people and the teachers, they’re all an amazing support team.
What are your future plans after high school?
I plan on going to university out of state (and maybe even out of the country), and traveling as much as possible.
What would you like others to know about Allison Ragsdale Photography?
Allison is amazing. She’s a great photographer and an even better person. My model photos turned out amazing and I can’t wait to see what my actual senior photos will look like.

My power would be to teleport and I would not have a name because I believe the best superheroes are the ones that go unnoticed and do good not for the fame, but just because they can.
Describe your session to someone that was not at the session. (Best part, funniest moment, coolest location, etc)
Very fun! Allison was very easy to work with and even though it was cold, it was still a fun time. The funniest things an hour after the session when one of my friends texted me asking why I was downtown lying on the sidewalk with my feet on at building.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
The best part of high school for me was actually a whole year when I studied abroad in Sweden. The thing I am going to miss most from high school is the theater program I am involved with.
What are your future plans after high school?
I hope to continue traveling and then go to university for either linguistics or sociology.

We photographed her older brother, Brenden, last year, and were very excited to work with this awesome family again! Amanda was so much fun. Describe your session to someone that was not at the session. (Best part, funniest moment, coolest location, etc)
It was windy so it made it cold, but the good part about the wind was it was blowing against me so my hair would flow. We took a picture where I got leaves and through them up, this was my favorite one. We also found a tree that still had green leaves and in the background they were all yellow so it was a very pretty sight. I had fun taking them and I never thought I would like taking so many pictures but the time flew by and it was awesome.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
Making new friends and having to leave them since we are all going to different colleges.
What are your future plans after high school?
Attend FLC or DU and possibly go to law school.

Allison is a fun and caring person and you are guaranteed to have fun during your session with her.
Durango Senior Guy Pictures in the Fall
Clay is the youngest and third of the Siekman brothers. I’ve been so honored to photograph all three of them for their senior portraits! They have all been so fun and so different to work with over the past three years and I’m hoping that their mom, Dana, will continue to have me photograph them all because I will miss seeing her and them if she doesn’t! We started in the studio with Clay and he was so easy going and up for everything I suggested. Then we headed out to one of my favorite river spots for the great fall colors and to use a specific rock along the water’s edge that we’ve used in the past with Clay’s two older brothers so we’ll have a matching set. Then we finished over by the Smiley Building for a bit more of an urban feel. I hope you love these few of my favorites!

Tori is not only one of our Class of 2013 Senior Models, but is also one of our awesome interns. She has been helping us this season with our senior and family sessions and weddings. So, when it came time for her own senior model session; it was really fun for me to see what all she has learned over the past few months and for her to be on the other side of the camera. I am an intern at Allison Ragsdale Photography, I also work at Animas Chocolate Company. I love taking pictures, shopping, traveling, and hanging out with friends! I’m involved with the youth group at my church and I also teach Sunday school for 6-8th grade.
If you could be a SuperHero? What would your name be and what would be your Superpower?
My SuperPower would be the ability to read minds, I can’t think of a SuperHero name.
Describe your session to someone that was not at the session. (Best part, funniest moment, coolest location, etc)
My session was awesome! We started out in the studio and then headed out to behind Big 5 to capture some beautiful fall colors. I even took some photos in the river – even though it was freezing! My favorite location was on a dirt road, it had a really cool bend in the road, and amazing fall colors in the background.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
The thing I’m going to miss most about High School is the social aspect of school. I love meeting new people and school activities such as sporting events, dances, etc.
What are your future plans after high school?
After high school I plan on attending Fort Lewis to get my basic classes finished. After I finish my basic classes I hope to move to Seattle and transfer to a bigger university to pursue a career in the medical field.
What would you like others to know about Allison Ragsdale Photography?
Allison is so much fun of the sessions and takes amazing photos! There wasn’t an awkward moment that went by. I felt completely comfortable and love all the photos she took. I think everyone should come to Allison to get their pictures taken!

During the session we went to a lot of beautiful places and the fall colours were stunning. Allison was really lovely and it was easy to take photos with her. I have to say I really enjoyed shooting by the river, it made me feel almost as pretty as the water, even though I almost fell in a couple of times.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
I am going to miss all the great friends I have met in high school or before high school, I dont know how I’m going to live without them! Im also going to miss my amazing teachers.
What are your future plans after high school?
I plan to go to art college and get a bachelors degree in interior design and become an interior designer! I also plan on moving to Europe after college.
What would you like others to know about Allison Ragsdale Photography?
It was really fun! I thought I would feel self conscious but I felt very comfortable and it was a really great experience!

If you not a junior and know you want to be a model for our studio when you are a junior, we have a plan for you. We accept models from non-junior classes. You get a mini session every year in the spring. From that session you will get an updated profile picture for Facebook. You will also be guaranteed to be one of the first models of your class when you are a junior/senior. Call us for details or fill out our model application (click here). Apart from being a full time student, I love to take pictures of eeeeverything. I love to idea of being able to freeze time in an image. I also spend alot of time hanging out with my friends and family.
If you could be a SuperHero? What would your name be and what would be your Superpower?
I would be The Voyager, and I would be a time traveler.
Describe your session to someone that was not at the session. (Best part, funniest moment, coolest location, etc)
My senior session was Wed. Oct. 17 at 4 pm. I went to Hair fusion before hand and got my hair and makeup done; they did an absolutley wonderful job!!! It was a really windy day so we did studio shots first so my hair wouldn’t get blown around and messed up. After doing two different outfits in the studio and taking a ton of great shots, I changed yet again and we left to do shots outside. I didn’t have a specific place I wanted to go I just knew I wanted all the fall colors and leaves to be apart of my photo shoot. But Allison always has the perfect place in mind and away we went. Allison can place you in any setting and make you look amazing. For example we found this place called the Quilt Store (it’s next to Jiffy Lube outside of town) and there were a ton of random rafting buses and table frames out back which seemed really random. Still, Allison creatively found ways to incorporate me and all the fall leaves and grasses an d colors around even with those random objects being there (She even took photos incorporating them as well). My session was just super exciting and now being a senior is finally starting to feel like reality.
What was the best High School moment so far or what are you going to miss most about High School.
The best moment in Highschool would be the last day of Freshman year, knowing that Highschool is really not as bad as people make it out to be. I had made it through a whole year and had the confidence that I could make it through the next 3 years to graduation. The only thing I will miss about highschool is getting to see my friends every single day.
What are your future plans after high school?
I plan to go off to college, but as for what college I’ll be attending and what I am going to study… noooo idea!!!!
What would you like others to know about Allison Ragsdale Photography?
Going to Allison is definitely not like taking that awkward school photo every year that turns out terrible. Allison knows everthing about making you look great in a photo and not feeling out of place. The sessions are super fun and her photos always turn out absolutley amazing!!!!!!!!!
