Not many seniors show up wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots so when thats what Trevor wore to his session needless to say it was pretty exciting. Hats are always awesome props and this one is even more amazing when you find out his dad wore it when he got married! The lake and rustic wood coral were the perfect compliment to this outfit, no matter which direction we turned there was always a great background and Trevor was up for anything.

You really can’t go wrong when you have a model as adorable as Elise, especially when you add a flower garden as the setting. One thing I love the most is seeing everyones awesome clothes a Elise did not disappoint. Her first outfit was a vibrant floral print dress and a jean jacket that had a retro feel to it. The entire session was filled with adorable outfits and so much laughter! Don’t miss her sister Caroline’s pictures as well

We absolutely love shooting in new places and were so excited when Caroline decided she wanted her session to begin out in the valley. The red cliffs and sage brush were an incredible color pallet and complimented her hair and eyes flawlessly. Not only was the environment awesome but so were her outfits and shoe choices. It was also awesome to get to photograph both her and her twin sister only a few weeks after each other, they are both absolutely incredible!

Jessie is so much fun to work with, she is always laughing and non stop smiling not to mention she is a girl of many talents including track, basketball, and volleyball. Throughout the shoot she kept all of us laughing and also mastered the art of slow walking in high heels (not the easiest thing to do). We were able to use downtown Durango as our awesome location which never disappoints.

Paige was absolutely amazing to photograph! She brought her incredible prom dress with her to photograph in the rose garden we have in town. The combination of the prom dress and endless flowers provided a very fairytale like feel to Paige’s session. We then switched gears to the blue summer dress she brought which just so happened to complement the water perfectly. Paige was amazing throughout her whole shoot and even managed to stand in the freezing cold water of the river and still look flawless. Hope you enjoy these images!

We had way too much fun on Emily’s session! Not only were the locations amazing but her outfits were something to be envious of, I personally wish I owned everything she wore. She brought an amazing hat with her that just happened to look incredible with all of her outfit options making it hard to not use it in every picture. Emily was a ton of fun to photograph and up for every idea we had. Over all this session is one for the books thanks to Emily for being such an amazing model! Hope you enjoy the images!

Happy Fourth of July!! This themed shoot with a group of our models was the perfect start to summer. Nothing quite embodies the Fourth of July like sparklers, Coca Cola bottles, watermelon, amazing sunsets, and a wardrobe of red, white, and blue. Our models showed up in a unique array of red white and blue inspired outfits that fit each of their own styles. One of the best parts of our group sessions is bringing together all of the individuals we get to photograph. I am still impressed by their abilities with making letters and numbers with sparklers. We love working with local businesses in order to bring a fresh new spin to our group shoots. Animas Trading Company allowed our models to come down and pick out outfits to wear later that evening in our photoshoot. I was blown away by all of the awesome outfits our models came back with, each girl has a completely different sense of style and it is rare that one store is able to provide them with clothes to reflect their unique sense of style but Animas Trading Company had an outfit perfect for each one. This shoot was so much fun due to the location as well as the group of models that were able to come. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we do!

Sequins, tule, and heels! Honestly that is all we need to make an amazing shoot in the studio and who doesn’t love dressing up?? Aspyn always shows up looking amazing and this time was no different, she did her incredible smokey eye, full makeup, and hair herself! Not only was her hair and makeup something of high fashion itself but she also brought some stunning dresses. My personal favorite was the black dress with lace and sequin detail, I am fairly certain everyone should have at least one incredible dress in their closet for moments like this. We are looking forward to more stylized shoots like this in the future!

It’s hard to pick just one! I’ve had such a great experience with so many of the teachers at Durango High School.

Koya is absolutely adorable there is no doubt about that. She not only had a joint session with her best friend Molly but she also brought really cute clothes, which is always a great combination.  Her first outfit had these awesome crochet lace details in the sleeves and the second was an adorable black lace dress with lacing up the back.
