How it works…
Getting your student’s school photos taken is a breeze with Allison Ragsdale Photography.
We make it easy to get your student looking their best; just send them to school and we’ll take care of the rest. The day of the photo shoot, your student will be given a flier that has an individual access code on it (no more order forms and sending checks to school with your student). Use this code to enter your student’s personal website gallery on our website and order their photos. It normally takes about a week for us to get the photos online after photo day.
Go ahead and put the access code in the website now, that way you will receive an email as soon as the photos are live. You can choose to have us ship those photos directly to your home or office, or you can opt for them to be shipped directly to the school for your student to bring home.
If your student did not bring home their flier (no big deal), please fill out the form below and we will email your student’s unique access code to you.
Dress to the 9’s
Don’t let your student miss out on this opportunity to get dressed up—get them into their favorite outfit and send them off to school with a smile. We are required to photograph every student without a hat (or anything on their head) for ID purposes so please don’t send them to school in a hat, as that can result in some interesting hair!
Photo day is here!
The school will bring your kids down by class for photos just like we did all those years ago. There are a couple of major differences: you don’t need to send a prepaid check with them AND you get to choose your favorite photo(s) to order!

Frequently Asked Questions
We will be photographing your student on a neutral background and just their head and shoulders (unless we’re also doing class photos which is dependent on the school your student attends). Solid colors without busy patterns or graphics are easiest on the eyes. We do love textures and fun neck lines. We are required to photograph your student without a hat (or anything else on their head) so please send them to school without a hat on so their hair looks great!
We are usually photographing first thing in the morning and done before lunch. We try our best to photograph a few different options/poses of each student.
Yes, every photo will go through color correction and cropping for consistency. If you have any special editing requests, we can get you a quote depending on what you want done.
Absolutely! If you order the digital images, you can share away!
