I have to say I was so super excited when some of my past brides told me they wanted to do a “trash the dress” session! For those of you who haven’t heard of trashing your dress, it’s a really fun way to wear your wedding dress one more time and get it wet, muddy, anything and everything you would never do with your dress on your wedding day. I had 3 brides who wanted to trash their dresses, and I wanted to be involved on both sides of the camera as well! So, we had a group trash the dress session last Sunday afternoon. April’s Garden made us 3 beautiful bouquets and Debbie, the publisher of the Durango Weddings Magazine, came along to watch the fun. Debbie was a huge help and she brought some of her magazines for props – the one of us four reading the magazine in the hay is one of my fave images from the day. We played in the hay barn, on a tractor, on an old orange dodge pick up truck, in the river, etc, etc. These are a few of my faves, but there are so many fun images, so stay tuned for more in the near future. Thanks so much to April’s Garden, Debbie, my husband for letting me model as well as photograph, and my beautiful brides: Shannon, Cahlie, and Melissa!
