This first one is of the Max Family. We photographed their session near Lightner Creek on a beautiful early fall day. To see their blog post from their session, click on Durango Family Fall Portraits.
This second portrait is of the sweet Espinosa Family, photographed in the park area next to the Rockridge entrance. To see their blog post, click on Durango Rockridge Family Pictures.
This third family is the Rocci Family, photographed out at Animas Valley Sleeping Beauty Ranch. You’ll notice quite a few of these portraits have dogs in them, as they are very much a part of the family. So, please include your pets in your portraits, if you would like. The fourth image is of the Gosney Family, walking along the river trail, late fall. To see their blog post, click on Durango River Trail Family Photos.
The fifth portrait is of the Meigs Family, up at Baker’s Bridge. I love the color of the water up there and those rock ledges lend themselves so well to posing! To see the Meigs Family blog post, click on Bakers Bridge Durango Family Pictures.
This image is of the Millward Family (well, of the Millward girls, anyway). This image was taken in the “long park” along the river, right off of the river trail and 32nd. Dad was there, but this was a “girls only” portrait – I love it so much! To see the Millward Family blog post, click on Durango Family Portraits.
The seventh portrait is of the Moreno Family. This portrait was taken at the “roly poly” park (according to the Moreno family), or the “orange park” (as my sister and I used to call it). To see the Moreno’s blog post, click on Durango Train Family Photographer.
The last image in this blog post is of the Kuenzel Family. We photographed them along the river behind Big 5 last fall. To see their blog post, click on Durango Family Fall Pictures.
Fall in Durango is my favorite time of year. And it is also the time of year we are busiest with family portraits. The fall colors make a beautiful backdrop, as do our beautiful green parks and beautiful river. Many of our families use their family portraits for holiday cards and for gifts for family and friends. We’ve designed gorgeous albums from family sessions and created wall collages for a modern twist on home decor. We would love to photograph your family and can’t wait to see what we can do together! Don’t wait until the leaves have already changed to schedule your session – it may be too late! Call us today to schedule your session to guarantee your spot:970-259-9255. We’ve got quite a few families scheduled already, whose sessions I’m extremely excited about! Above are a few of my favorite family portraits from years past. Hope you love these few of my faves and I can’t wait to add your portraits to this list!
