Kayla & Drake were married Septebmer 2, 2011 at Animas Valley Sleeping Beauty Ranch. This has been one of my favorite locations for photographing families and seniors and is now one of my favorites venues for photographing weddings! What a gorgeous location! And what an amazing team of vendors we had to work with too! Christy, the wedding coordinator, for Sleeping Beauty Ranch, is beyond incredible! She works so hard and everything runs so smoothly because of it. Kayla picked other wonderful vendors as well, such as Norton’s Catering (best mashed potatoes ever), Blossom Durango (gorgeous flowers), Sweet Treats by Morgan, and Stand Alone Entertainment (who kept the dance floor full the entire night), to name a few. I also want to mention Chad Nuefeld, of Chad Nuefeld Photography, for doing such an amazing job photographing this wedding with me! Kayla was stunning, as were her bridesmaids and I loved the colors Kayla chose. Drake and his groomsmen looked amazing too. They were a really fun wedding party to work with, as you can see from some of my favorite images of them. The weather worked out perfectly, with the rain and wind coming to a stop before the ceremony, and the sun stayed out the rest of the afternoon. There were a lot of adorable children at this wedding and some of my favorite images are of a couple of the little boys playing in the fountains. There was also a lot of money being pinned on the bride and groom, which is a tradition I would like to see more of! And I knew this was going to be a really great wedding when the flower girl became our third shooter with her disposable camera.
