And the winner is….. (drum roll please)…. Emily Barney! Congratulations to Emily for being the recipient of Allison Ragsdale Photography’s Class of 2012 Model Program Scholarship! You’ll probably remember seeing Emily’s portraits throughout this past year. We photographed her Durango senior model session last April and it’s hard to believe it’s been a year already! Emily participated in a group paint splatter session with us over the summer (and she impressed me by covering herself completely in paint), then we photographed her senior portraits in September 2011. I had the opportunity to photograph Emily again for a school brochure – and she was amazing to work with and photograph every time! One of my favorite things about Emily’s sessions was that she would bring themed outfits; such as an “alley outfit”, a “nautical outfit”, etc. It made location scouting more fun and a direction for me to run with. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Emily and her family over this past year and am excited to continue working with them (Emily has a younger sister and brother and I can’t wait until it’s their turn)! Emily is headed off to DU next year for school and we are so honored to be able to contribute in any way. I can’t wait to see what Emily does next!
