Denise and Ben were married on June 16, 2012. It was an incredible wedding. The ceremony was at Durango Mountain Resort‘s Engineer Site and the reception was held at Purgy‘s. It was a perfect day, not too hot and it didn’t rain even though the skies threatened too. We started the day photographing the pre-ceremony rituals and the wedding party getting ready. They stayed in the Purgatory Lodge and I had a blast photographing Denise and her accessories (her dress, shoes, etc) in their beautiful hotel room. Denise is stunning and her dress was absolutely amazing. As usual, there will be multiple blog posts about this wedding because I can’t share it all in just one and I have a lot to share. This post will be all images of Denise and Ben. I LOVED photographing these two because they really cared about their portraits. Denise had previously sent me tons of examples of images she liked so I knew exactly how I wanted to photograph her on her wedding day. Even with the mosquitoes following them around, Denise and Ben let us photograph them in multiple locations. DMR’s Engineer ceremony site is so beautiful, so we started there for photographs. Then, we headed back to the resort (to get some bug spray) and take more pictures. They even had their own DMR appointed chauffeur! I hope you love these few of my favorites of this wonderful couple!
