Denise and Ben’s wedding ceremony was so sweet and the location couldn’t have been more stunning. It was at DMR’s Engineer Ceremony site and with the clouds rolling in, we had great soft light. Tori Ossola, DMR’s wedding coordinator, did a fantastic job with entire day and the ceremony as no exception. Everything went perfectly. Denise’s flowers from April’s Garden were so beautiful, especially her all white peonies bouquet! Their programs were beautiful, as was the wedding party. I loved the purple dresses and gray tuxes against the incredible Engineer Mountain backdrop. This wedding ceremony was even more special to me because my dad was the officiant. Denise and Ben hadn’t found an officiant earlier in the planning process, so I suggested my dad. He married my husband and I, and he has performed several other wedding ceremonies for friends, etc. They were a perfect fit and it was fun to have my family even more involved than normal. We even all attended the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, at Sow’s Ear, which is another blog post entirely (click HERE to see it). Back to the ceremony. Ben’s brother has two adorable little boys who were the ring bearers for the wedding, pulled down the aisle by their mom and one of Denise’s bridesmaids, in a red wagon. So cute! The flower girl was a relative of Denise’s and she was absolutely adorable as well. One of the things I thought was so neat about Denise and Ben’s ceremony was that they signed their marriage certificate as part of the ceremony. I loved that (and if Matt and I had done that, we probably wouldn’t have lost our marriage certificate and had to apply for another one – ha). Enjoy!
